Summerseat Remembers Photos

Summerseat Remembers had a great turnout. The mansion was decorated for the holidays, George Washington orated, we had a raffle and colonial crafts. There were famous Summerseat hot dogs (chili dogs, too), amazing chili, and delicious soups to sample, as well as appetizing baked goods.

Upstairs we had crafters and vendors selling their wares upstairs in the ballroom, and we had train enthusiasts set up in the basement.

  1. To the Team at Summerseat,I stopped by there in early December and met several of you. I’m an historian and author based in Kennett Square, Pa. and I’m working on my 10th book, to be titled “America’s Forgotten Founding Fathers”. Robert Morris is one of them. I’m so sorry I was unable to attend your December event- it looks like it was a great success! I am still very interested in speaking with someone there on the team who could provide me with some images of the house, furniture, paintings, etc that have a link to or highlight Robert Morris and/or George Clymer. I’m actually working on the Morris section of my book right now- and would really appreciate having the chance to speak with someone about images which I could use in the book. I’ll be glad to give full credit to you, Summerseat and the Morrisville Historical Society- and provide some complimentary copies for you. Please contact me to discuss getting images. I appreciate all your assistance! Sincerely, Gene Pisasale H 610-925-1795; C 610-304-3993 E-mail: Gene@GenePisasale.com
