Summerseat has a very exciting calendar of events for Fall 2023. With something for everyone, we hope to see you here! October is your chance to see Summerseat in a way few get the chance to as you come along with us for Summerseat Ghost Tours! Get ready for tales of the ghosts of Summerseat and the scoop on the latest strange happenings and unusual phenomenon as we investigate the paranormal activity at our 1770 stone mansion, one our nation’s foremost historic homes. Ghost Tours at Summerseat are taking place this year on October 14th and October 21st and spots are limited, so don’t forget to reserve your spot today. Tickets are $20 and support Summerseat and the Morrisville Historic Society.
…and don’t get out of the Halloween spirit just yet as on the following weekend Summerseat will be hosting our one of a kind Wicked Witch Program with entertainment for all ages. This event is taking place in collaboration with the extraordinary Alisa Dupuy. Watch as she comes to life as The Wicked Witch and creates a fantastic fun-filled afternoon for kids and grown-ups alike.
The weather will be just fine in November as we enjoy the Fall breeze and the November 4th Fall car show with the Porsche Club of America. Stop by, meet some friends and see some classics as there will be plenty on display on the Summerseat lawn. There’s plenty more to do at Summerseat in November as Dr. Mark Lender will be our special guest to give a special presentation on his book On the Conway Cabal on November 12. This is a free event. Come, listen and enjoy. Books will be available for purchase at the end of this event.
Next, get into the spirit of the season with Alisa Dupuy as she presents a very special presentation of A Christmas Carol at Summerseat on Sunday December 2nd. The holidays are beautiful at Summerseat historic stone mansion! You won’t want to miss it!
