October 22nd – HAUNTED DINNER PARTY – 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Come to Summerseat’s Haunted Dinner Party and talk GHOSTS after a delicious catered dinner of …. Thinly Sliced Road Kill in a Hearty Marsala Sauce (Chicken Marsala), Roasted Italian Vegetarians (Roasted Vegetables), Ghostly Lasagna (Vegetarian), Roasted Potatoes from the Dark Side of the Moon, Delicate Swamp Greens (Salad), Pounded Toadstool Rolls (Rolls and Butter), and a Chocolaty Dessert.
After dinner, each guest will have a chance to tell their own Ghost Story (about 5 minutes per story so everyone gets a chance). A few Summerseat Hauntings will be discussed. $ 20.00 for dinner on first floor and $25 to eat in the Haunted Crypt (basement where two British Spies were held before their hanging. Really!). Saturday, December 10th – Summerseat Remembers – 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Don’t forget our Commemoration of the Day General George Washington arrived at Summerseat in December, 1776. Meet our General George Washington who arrives at 11:00 AM and addresses the crowd assembled. Have your picture taken with the Real Santa Claus in front of Summerseat’s Cozy Fireplace for a cost $5.00, eat delicious Summerseat Soups, and Hot Dogs, you can buy Homemade Baked Goods at Carol’s Bake Shop, meet a Colonial Apothecary Surgeon (you’ll be happy you live in modern times), Delaware Valley Model Railroad Club, a delight for kids and seniors alike, Local Crafters, Crafts for Kids, and much more.
DROP YOUR DONATED BAKED GOODS OFF AT SUMMERSEAT – DECEMBER 9th from 6 – 8 pm.
And this year our Local Crafters and Vendors are being invited to sell their goods (10 AM – 4 PM) in Summerseat’s Ballroom on December 10th. Craft & Vendor set up begins December 9th from 6-8 pm & December 10th, starting at 7 am. Spaces are limited!
